Juli Min is a Korean-American writer based in Shanghai. She holds an MFA in fiction from Warren Wilson, and she studied Russian and comparative literature at Harvard University.

Her debut novel Shanghailanders was long-listed for the 2025 Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction, was a NYTimes Editors’ Choice selection, and a Time 100 Books of 2024. Published by Spiegel & Grau in the US and Dialogue Books in the UK, Shanghailanders has also been translated into Arabic, German, Japanese, Norwegian, and Spanish.
